European Athletics U18 Championships Banská Bystrica with Polanik - The Official Supplier

The European Athletics Championships for U18 athletes made their debut in 2016. So far, they have been hosted by Tbilisi (2016), Gyor (2018) and Jerusalem (2022).

4th U18 European Championship was held in Banská Bystrica on 18-21.07.2024. Our company was the Official Supplier of equipment for the competition.
 
Poland won eight medals, including four gold medals.
In the 400-metre race, Anastazja Kuś amazed everybody with her form. She is also in the Polish representation for the upcoming Olympic Games. As the first athlete in the history of Polish U18 athletics, she completed one lap of the track in less than 52 seconds - 51.89, she broke a national record and an U18 championship record.
 
The next gold medals were won by: discus thrower Jakub Rodziak, Stanisław Strzelecki in the 400-metre race and Swedish relay race (100-200-300-400 m) consisting of: Nikodem Dymiński, Jakub Foremny, Bartłomiej Adamczyk and Stanisław Strzelecki. The Poles scored a time of 1,51.62, which is the second best in the history of European athletics. 23 years earlier, their compatriots had run faster in the world junior championships in Debrecen.
 
Vice Champions of the continent were Zofia Rojek in 100-metre hurdle race, Roch Krukowski in a javelin throw and Olivia Kasprzak, Aleksandra Jeż, Zofia Tomczyk and Kuś in Swedish relay race.
The bronze was the work of Łukasz Zaczyk in the 800-metre race event.
 
White-Reds took second place, behind Italy, in the medal classification of the competition.
