Ewa Swoboda amazes athletics world during this season. After breaking Polish record twice during Orlen Cup in Łódź, she put her best foot forward on 5th of March during Indoor Polish Championships.
In the final section, she extended the distance between her and her competitiors and when she crossed the line, all clocks showed 7.00. After a moment of suspense, the time was corrected to 6.99. It is the best score this year in the world and of course, it is indoor Polish record.
Polish runner has become 9th sprinter in the history who had a time below 7 seconds in 60 metre run. The score of 6.99 is the third best score in the history of European athletics.
