68th Janusz Kusociński Memorial with outstanding results
On 5th of June 2022, 30 thousand spectators watched the athletics competition on Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.
68th Janusz Kusociński Memorial was blessed with the presence of 7-time Olympic Champion Allyson Felix, but she was not the biggest star of woman 400-metre run. The American lost on the last straight to Natalia Kaczmarek who a couple of days ago scored the second-best time in the history of Polish athletics (50.16). With the run during the competition, she confirmed the fact that she is well prepared (50.40).

In 800-metre run, Mateusz Borkowski and Patryk Sieradzki impressed the crowd and with that, they filled out the minimum for World Championships in Oregon.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Customers!

Today, it has been 55 years since Wiesław Szczepanik started Polanik company. We did not expect, that we would celebrate this occasion in such circumstances. In fact, would not celebrate because another pandemic wave and all restrictions involved with it prevent us from doing so.

World Champion from Doha until now, could only brag about her personal best of 78,24 metres which was fourth best score in the world.

Piotr Małachowski has a discus signed with his name

Another interesting initiative in athletics environment. Polanik with two-time silver Olympic medallist Piotr Małachowski presented new equipment for discus throw competition.
To be a legend, one has to work for years. Małachowski has done it without any doubt. He is in the athletics top for over a decade. In 2015 he became a World Champion in Beijing and brought two silver medals from this event (2009 Berlin and 2013 Moscow). He also is a two time silver medallist in Olympic Games (Beijing and Rio de Janeiro).
