Piotr Lisek scored 5,65 m and won pole vault competition in W. Komar and T. Ślusarski Memorial on 17th of August 2020 in Międzyzdroje.

We prepared infrastructure needed for competition. Pole vault and shot put sector was built in the central point of the city - in the alley of stars.

On the previous day Lisek (on the day of his 28th birthday) in Wiesław Maniak Memorial scored 5,90 m which is the second score this year in the world. Higher jump was only scored by Swede Armand Duplantis - 6 m.

In Międzyzdroje, Robert Sobera scored 5,25 m and was classfied on 6th. poisition and Daegu World Champion (2011) Paweł Wojciechowski was not able to beat first height (5,25 m).

Władysław Komar and Tadeusz Ślusarski Memorial is organized every year on the day of their tragic death: 17th of August 1998.
