Medallists from the biggest events from around the world with World Champions and Olympic Champions took part in another edition of ORLEN Copernicus Cup meeting on 8.02.2023.
During the 25th edition of the European Athletics Championships, White-reds took place on the podium 14 times. They won three gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Up to 12 rings were won by women. It has been the best performance since 1966 when Polish contestants in Budapest won 15 medals and that included seven gold ones.
28 thousand of spectators came to the first Diamond League meeting in Poland – Silesia Kamila Skolimowska Memorial on 6th of August 2022, in order to watch this historical moment.

On 4-7th of July 2022 there were European Athletics U18 Championships in Jerusalem.
All equipment necessary for running events, pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump came to Israel straight from our company.
On 5th of June 2022, 30 thousand spectators watched the athletics competition on Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.
68th Janusz Kusociński Memorial was blessed with the presence of 7-time Olympic Champion Allyson Felix, but she was not the biggest star of woman 400-metre run. The American lost on the last straight to Natalia Kaczmarek who a couple of days ago scored the second-best time in the history of Polish athletics (50.16). With the run during the competition, she confirmed the fact that she is well prepared (50.40).
Olympic Champions – Anita Włodarczyk and Wojciech Nowicki – they triumphed in the 4th edition of Irena Szewińska Memorial (World Athletics Continental Tour Gold). It was held on 3.06.2022 at Z. Krzyszkowiak Stadium in Bydgoszcz.
In 800-metre run, Mateusz Borkowski and Patryk Sieradzki impressed the crowd and with that, they filled out the minimum for World Championships in Oregon.
On 17th of May 2022, we signed a partnership contract with European Athletics. This agreement covers the period of 2023 – 2026.
A signing ceremony took place in the European Athletics Headquarters in Lausanne. Signatories were Dobromir Karamarinov and Christian Milz from European Athletics and Dariusz Szczepanik from Polanik.

Polish record of Ewa Swoboda and the best score in the world in 60 metre run at the moment was the biggest event of the ORLEN Cup Łódź 2022 meeting on Friday. Polish shot putter also showed his great attitude.

On 5th of September in Chorzów, another edition of Kamila Skolimowska Memorial took place.
The first league of athletes, great results, full stadium and amazing atmosphere - that's how we can comment on Sunday's meeting.

On 23.07 - 8.08 our attention was focused on long awaited 32nd Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
These were the best Olympic Games for Polish athletes in the history. In Tokyo for the first time, they managed to take 9 places on the podium. White-Reds finished the competition with 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
– Spectators came back to stands, and I came back to sport – Anita Włodarczyk, who in a wonderful style won hammer throw event during 3rd Irena Szewińska Memorial in Bydgoszcz, said. Paweł Fajdek, who beat meeting's record with the score of 82,77 m, is also in a great form.
The best score, this year in the world in 400 m women run was scored by Christine Mboma.
