The final countdown is underway: The Diamond League at Superauto.pl in the Silesian Stadium will take place on Saturday, August 16. The day before - on Friday, August 15, for the first time, fans will have a free taste of what will happen at the weekend - City Games, which is three women's competitions in a street, unusual edition.
The most important competitions, top-ranked athletics events, are always held with the participation of Polanik equipment - and this will be the case this time as well. From Wednesday, August 13, we start assembling equipment on the market in Katowice and final testing of equipment and overlooking trainings at the stadium in Chorzów. We have been supporting the organization of the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial since the first editions, this year we are also expanding the work to include competitions organized on the market.
The release of the initial start lists made a special impression. Although corrections may occur even in the last hours before the competition, experts already point out that "it is a sporty space" and "the games are packed up to several hours."
- We tried to act so that there were no holes in any competition. So that every event has stars. Olympic champion Noah Lyles versus table leader will run in the men's 100 meters. In the hammer we have the entire men's podium from Paris. In the pole, a total of six "six-metre" poles, including the phenomenal Armand Duplantis, who set a world record of 6.29 m in Budapest on Tuesday. There will also be spectacular female hurdles. Faith Kipyegon at 3000 m, the women's strong 400 m, Femke Bol, Sha'Carri Richardson, Masai Russell... I'm sorry, this can't be mentioned in one breath - laughs Małachowski.

The organizers argued that the competitions presented there are spectacular when viewed from the nearest distance. - We care about the most qualitative cast of the starting lists as possible. - said Kamila Skolimowska's sporting director Piotr Małachowski, noting that the pole vault will feature Olympic champion from Paris and world record holder Jarosław Mahuczich from Ukraine.
