In the 27th edition of the European Athletics Championships, the Polish team won eight medals. The silver medallists were:
- Natalia Bukowiecka - 400 m
- Klaudia Kazimierska - 1,500 m
- Pia Skrzyszowska - 100 m hurdles
- Ewa Swoboda - 100 m
- Katarzyna Zdziebło - race walking of a marathon's distance
- Maria Żodzik - high jump
Two bronze medals were won by:
- Jakub Szymański - 110 m hurdles
- The women’s 4×100 m relay team consisting of Krystsina Tsimanouskaya, Pia Skrzyszowska, Magdalena Stefanowicz and Ewa Swoboda, with Wiktoria Gajosz also running in the heats.
- Italy - 22 medals (10 gold, 6 silver, 6 bronze)
- Great Britain - 19 medals (9 gold, 8 silver, 2 bronze)
- Germany - 21 medals (6 gold, 10 silver, 5 bronze)
- Netherlands - 14 medals (5 gold, 3 silver, 6 bronze)
- Norway - 6 medals (4 gold, 0 silver, 2 bronze)
The next edition of the European Athletics Championships will be held at Silesian Stadium in Chorzów in 2028
