Kamila Lićwinko came to Białystok in a wonderful mood- high jumper from Podlasie Białystok. It was her come back from a maternity leave. On friday, on Diamond League in Lozanna she scored 194 cm which is a bare minimum for World Championships. On Sunday she had a lot of to be happy about- heights 180, 185, 190 and 194 cm were aquired by her at first attempt. It was clear then that she won the competition. later, the crossbar was placed a bit higher- 196 cm- which is a minimum for Olympic Games. At third try Kamila was close to scoring that height but the crossbar eventually fell down- The jumps were awesome, I'm really happy about my performance- That's what a representative of Podlasie said about her jumps. Simultaneously with High Jump, a shot put event was held where Daniell Thomas Dodd from Jamaica was the best. She put her shot to the distance of 19,16 m. Paulina Guba took second place with the result of 18,35m. Fourth place was taken by Klaudia Kardasz from Podlasie Białystok with the score of 17,93.
Another competition held in the centre of Białystok was Pole Vault. Piotr Lisek was the favourite of this competition and he jumped 6,01 during Diamond League in Lozanna- It's a new Polish record. Unfortunately, jumps weren't that high in Białystok, mainly due to strong wind. At the end, Piotr Lisek with the score of 5,61 m was the best.(three attempts at 5,71 were failed). Robert Sobera with the result of 5,61 took second place.
In shot put competition, Darlan Romani won with the result of 22,02m, Michał Haratyk was second.
