During the 25th edition of the European Athletics Championships, White-reds took place on the podium 14 times. They won three gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Up to 12 rings were won by women.
It has been the best performance since 1966 when Polish contestants in Budapest won 15 medals and that included seven gold ones.

European Athletics Championships Munich 2022 were held on 15th-21st of August.
Polish athletes took 6th place in the medal qualification:

12. Pia Skrzyszowska – gold (110 m hurdle run)
13. Adrian Brzeziński, Przemysław Słowikowski, Patryk Wykrota i Dominik Kopeć – bronze (relay 4x100 m)
14. Pia Skrzyszowska, Anna Kiełbasińska, Marika Popowicz-Drapała i Ewa Swoboda – silver (relay 4x100 m).

WE CONGRATULATE ALL ATHLETES!

Polish athletes have been taking part in European Championships since the first edition in Turin, 1934.
They brought 12 medals from the last three editions of this type of competition, held in Zurich (2014), Amsterdam (2016) and Berlin (2018).
Due to covid outbreak, Paris edition planned in 2020 was cancelled.

In Munich, our equipment was present: shots, hammers, javelins and discuses.
Both medals in hammer throw event were obtained with the use of Polanik hammers.
