A few days ago, we asked: "We wonder if the favourite hammer of masters Ziolkowski Hammer Black will help to get another medals?"
Today, we have the answer: Of course it will!
During 18th World Championships in Eugene on 15-24th of July 2022 White – Reds got four medals in total. Two of them: gold and silver by Paweł Fajdek and Wojciech Nowicki were won with the Szymon Ziółkowski hammer Ziolkowski Hammer Black.
Athletics World Championships are back after three years. Initially, the competition was supposed to be held in 2021, but it was postponed due to Olympic Games, which were held a year earlier due to COVID-19 outbreak.
According to "Athletics Weekly" forecasts published before the competition, the Polish team was supposed to win four medals in Oregon.
On the first day of the rivalry, Katarzyna Zdziebło surprised us by becoming silver medallists in race walking.
Another medals were brought to us by our reliable hammer throwers – Paweł Fajdek and Wojciech Nowicki.
Exactly a week after the first success, Zdziebło put her best foot forward again. She finished second in 35 km walk, and she was happy with winning another silver medal.
At last in medal classification, White – Reds took eight place. Americans were the best. They won 33 medals, including 13 gold ones. The hosts turned out to be better than Ethiopians and Jamaicans. Congratulations!
