202 medals, in that, 83 gold medals - that is how many medals were won by Polish athletes during Indoor World Championships Masters 2023. On 26.03 - 1.04.2023 were held in Arena Toruń. Our representatives were also able to break a couple of world records.
Polish representation won in medal classification thanks to great results. White-Red masters won 83 gold, 67 silver and 52 bronze medals. With that, they improved the result obtained in 2019 when they won only 182 medals. Only German team was better than Polish one - they won 234 medals, but our friends from west were able to take the highest place only 74 times.
Polish team was also filled with multi-medallists. One of them was the director of the competition Wacław Krankowski who triumphed in shot put and hammer throw events. Successful starts in long and triple jump were the domain of Łukasz Sobora.
World records were put on the account of our representation as well. One of them was broken by former Polish record holder in javelin throw Genowefa Patla. Women from Warsaw won the javelin throw event in W60 category by throwing a javelin at the distance of 41.14.
In total, 4000 athletes took part in the competition.
Our company has been continuously supporting Polish Master Athletics and this is another competition where our equipment was delivered.
