- green – false start was not athletes’ fault TR16.5.3, s. 108
- red-white – start under a protest TR8.4.1, s. 90
- red-black – false start disqualification TR16.9, s. 111
- yellow-black – in combined events, warning informing about disqualification for another false start TR16.9, s. 111
